Back to School
I love offering back to school mini's every year! Lets face it.....School photos don't
often turn out even close to how we hope.
This was easily my favorite year to date!
Reign is one!!
What a great year it's been following this beautiful baby and family!
Reign was part of my "grow with me" club that gives you the ability to capture all the milestones ( newborn, sitting, standing, 1st birthday ) At a better deal than if booked indovidually.
Babies never change faster than in that first year and it truly is so fast.

2018 was a year of family! I typically do a lot of newborn and baby photography and for some reason, I was out on location often capturing some of my favorite
clients and those babies growing up!
I can't complain....natural light and being able to use Mother Nature as my background will NEVER get old.
Jexten and Hux
First off....some one make this post title into a kids clothing line STAT.
Jexten was the perfect little helper for some new lighting and techniques I am trying to improve.
I'm adding a few digital drops to the mix here and there which means when requested, you can get your beautiful new addition in
something a little more artsy and different..... like a leaf ;) Huxon didn't know he'd be modeling some digital drops till
after the fact and I reused a few leftovers from his session!
Digital drops are meant to give you unique images that will stun the masses
without causing baby any discomfort and waisting precious sleep time by setting everything up.
Can you tell which images or straight out of camera and which ones have been edited? I will give you a clue, three images are and three aren't!

WOW! It's been such an excellent and busy year for Bluebird and I've been blessed to capture so many beautiful and tiny faces.
It's always been difficult to manage and balance my most important role as a Wifey and Mama ( or as my kids say "Miss Hannigan ) on top of the title Photographer and as a result my cute little website usually suffers with the lack of updates.
It's sad really but now and again I get a chance to share something new!

I LOVE kids!!! The only thing that makes me happier then a newborn is seeing and capturing them as they grow and capturing the family that love them!
I've had some adorable Big and Little kids around here lately and I wish I had time to blog all of their sessions but I don't ( I have my own kids to wrangle)

Digital Photography for beginners
MOMS, this one is for you!!
Sure we can all push a button… and boom, a snap shot appears on our digital camera….but are you ready to actually start taking pictures?
Even some of the simplest inexpensive cameras have
manual modes. Just the word "manual" can be intimidating….and once upon a time I couldn't even go down the road
of ISO, Aperture and and Raw format without starting to nervously sweat…...
and white balance????…WHAT THA????
My users manual may has well been in Russian for all the sense it made to me and it was much easier to just shoot in auto.
For a long time I took auto mode snapshots….that looked the same….and meh…..and blah every.single.time.
CURSE YOU automatic flash that won't stop popping up!
For this reason…..
I've decided to offer a course to get you out of the "meh" zone
and into a comfortable happy place where you can start
documenting your every day moments right.
You may think….WHY would I spend money on something like this?
and to that I'd counter, WHY did you spend that much money
on a camera you can't use? Let's change that!! and make your $ count!

When Lincolns beautiful Mom contacted me….I have to admit I was nervous! This handsome baby was
already a month old!
Now I know what your thinking, a baby who is only four weeks old is still brand new ….. that is unless your newborn photographer.
Lincoln exceeded my expectations in every way. He was an absolute dream boat and I've
learned not to be nervous about any age!
Mia has a birthday!
How much fun I've had watching Mia grow. Her parents have faithfully documented her first year and
they'll never regret it! She's grown so much ! Proof below.
Baby Bluebird Olivia
At three days new, Olivia was the freshest newborn I've ever worked with. Luckily she made her debut just in time to come over before I left on vacation. She and her big sister
were darling.
I've loved shooting her and her cousins newborn portraits! all such beautiful babies.
